Why become an ambassador with us?
Becoming an Orca Ambassador with the CWR is a meaningful way to support whale research, conservation, and public engagement. Our ambassadors help us reach more people, raise vital funds, and share the story of the Southern Residents with communities near and far.
You do not need to be a whale expert to get involved, just passionate about supporting the work we do. We welcome people with a range of skills, experience, and availability - from those who can help occasionally at events to those interested in taking on a more regular role.
How ambassadors help
Our ambassadors support CWR in many different ways, including helping at events, representing CWR in the community, supporting fundraising activities, assisting with outreach, and sharing information about our work.
Every role helps strengthen our mission and makes a real difference to the work we are able to do.
