EncSummary:
After getting its winter service and starboard engine issue fixed at Friday Harbor Marine, we re-launched “KCB3” at Jackson Beach at 1326. There was a report that T49A1 had been found north of Friday Harbor and was heading up San Juan Channel. Since this was on our way to the fuel dock and home, we decide to stop by on the way.
We arrived on scene at 1343 just south of Rocky Bay. T49A1 was traveling northwest along the San Juan Island shoreline. He cut across the mouth of Rocky Bay but dipped in close to O’Neal Island briefly. We had one pass by from him and then ended the encounter at 1407 about halfway between O’Neal Island and Reuben Tarte County Park. T49A1 was traveling slowly northwest towards Green Point.
