Jenn Schorr pours a bucket of salt water over the body of the completely grounded male
transient killer whale CA188. During two consecutive nights the tide went so far out that
the male whale spent several hours completely out of the water. Wet sheets and blankets,
along with hundreds of bucket-loads of water, helped maintain the whale through those
two very difficult nights. (At one point, CA188 was over 75' from the receeded waterline.)
