L110 is a boy, October 20, 2007

Look closely: L110's eye is clearly visible just below a thin layer of water as he is playfully pushed to the surface by his mother L83 (not visible just below the young calf).

It's a boy. This photo is the Center's first confirmation that L110 is a boy. Note the markings on the underside near the belly button of the young whale.
