During the Superpod encounter August 19, 2007, with J's, K's and L-pods (Encounter #048), a report of a lone Transient male very close to the Southern Resident Killer whales was received. Staff observed the lone male nearby as they were traveling towards the lead group (J-pod) after departing the rear group (K's and L's), and briefly took the opportunity to identify and photograph T14 before returning to the encounter with the Resident Killer whales.
