We encountered whales east of Hein Bank at 4:30 p.m. The whales were extremely spread in small tight groups and singles heading north. At 4:37 we encountered L90 logging and milling by her self. She was exhibiting the same behavior we have seen over the past few weeks: lifting her head before each breath and taking shallow dives. She remained close to the research boat for over 10 minutes. We encountered her again at 6:57 p.m. still by herself and heading slowly west. All the whales we encountered were: L90, L84, L5, J34, L85, J37, L12, J14, J45, J40, J30, L113, L94, K27, K44, K12, K37, K43, K25, K38, L83, L110, K20, K16, K35, L91, K40, K21
