We encountered J's K's and L's about a mile north west of Bellevue Point at 12:26 p.m. The whales were spread out from the point to False Bay, traveling north. We encountered mixed groups of J's, K's and a few L's (L53, L7, L87, L22 and L79). The encounter ended off Tip Top Hill on Stuart Island at 3: 16 p.m.
